the first time he left it sucked. now it just hurts. although this changed my perspective some. it just sucks seeing him go again. he's not the reason the cubs are losing this year, so why is he gone... you know. but then again he does have a shot at winning. along with some other former cubs. mueller and maro. but, oh yeah, they weren't "good enough" for the cubs either. so this whole "die hard" thing is going to pay off someday, right? because all i know is hurt. and it's not gonna get better any time soon. i say get rid of hendry. but what do i know, i'm just a fan.

*disclaimer* i apologize for not keeping this site running. life kinda got in the way with the old crappy job (bbw) and then the new job and school. i'm sorry. but i am going to do my best this season to stay on top of things. we may not have player of the week anymore... or at least not every week because that is darn near impossible now. but i will do my best to keep this site going. anyways.....

so you think you're ready for this baseball season? i know i am. and who knows what will happen. hopefully my cubbies can actually do something but i know not to get my hopes up. i kinda like the days leading up to opening day because until 7:05 pm tomorrow evening every team (theoretically) has a shot at being the world champions in a short 6 months. who knows what will happen? but i will tell you this. i for one will enjoy every minute of it... even all the losses that will be endured. so with that i say "play ball" .... and stay tuned for more ;)

welcome again to this weeks player of the week! i am SO excited about this guy because he is YOUNG and HOT and has more potential than anyone! he is AWESOME! he is none other than.... david wright of the new york mets!

hello everybody, how are you? better than i am i hope. i haven't forgotten about adam kennedy or any of the other POTWs but right now things are stressful. and we haven't had internet connection at home for some reason (not like i would notice, i haven't been home in two days other than to sleep...). i'm way in over my head with micrio bio and GSU isn't very clear about the requirements so i don't know what to do. sorry don't mean to bore you with the details of my life. it is just really getting to me. i left lab the other day and drove home crying. when i was watching lauren yesterday i just started crying again. i haven't had anxiety attacks since ryan left and the time before that was at eiu. so yeah not fun here. but i hope to have everything caught up eventually and i will see you all then. take care and have a great weekend!

hello again everybody. well here is the last of update week, a familiar face in JT Snow. it seems like just last week we learned all about him...oh wait.... yes so let's see how much JT's stats improved in that one weeks times. JT is currently hitting .276 with 4 homeruns, 36 runs, 33 RBI and 1 stolen base. great job JT!

hello again! well here is our long awaited update on mr. mark teixiera. The first baseman for the rangers is hitting .287 with 34 homeruns, 4 stolen bases, 93 runs and 107 RBI (not mad mark!)

Mr. Mark Prior is still pitching for the Chicago Cubs, which is definitely a good thing..Chicago is better for it!!! He is currently 9-5 with a 3.68 ERA with 1 complete game, 45 walks and 147 strikeouts. Way to go Mark! keep up the good work kiddo! oh yeah, and he is still as sexy as ever....which is good for us gals ;)

Jack Thomas Snow was born on February 26, 1968. He is listed at 6'2" and 210 lbs (hello mr. snow...). JT graduated from Los Alamitos High School, where he lettered in baseball, football and basketball (how athletic...). He earned All-League honors in all 3 sports and was high school teammate of former Giants' closer Robb Nen. JT played 3 seasons (1987-89) at the University of Arizona. JT is son of Jack Snow, a former Notre Dame All-America wide receiver who also played 11 NFL seasons with Los Angeles Rams. JT has appeared as an extra on television series "ER" during 1994 off-season (good to see he has another career lined up for life after baseball...sidenote: need to start watching "ER" repeats...). JT's brother-in-law Rex Peters is the head baseball coach at UC Davis. JT married his wife in November of 1993 and their son was born in December of 1997 (congratulations!!!).
